Crumpler Introduces New Bags For 2010

From Crumpler Press Release:

Old Banger Cause Kransky’s Anger Over Customary and Sinking Barges

Crumpler Bags Spot a Hole in ther Line Up and Fill it With Duffels

KR0102ABrownPinkaOB0101AGreyBlueaOR – Salt Lake City, Utah  ─ Crumpler’s new line of duffel bags The Old Banger and The Kransky compliment their ever expanding luggage range as a great “hold-all”/ “weekender” bag. This style of bag is often referred to as a kit bag or gym bag and has been one of the most requested styles for Crumpler. The outer fabric is 900D Nylon which protects against the elements without destroying any hands. Although both these bags will appeal to both sexes, the Old Banger is designed with colors and styling in mind to suit males and The Kransky’s colors and shape are more oriented towards females and includes an additional concealed outside pocket. Both styles come in 3 colors, medium for now, with small and large versions en route.

barge2abarge5aThe Sinking and Customary Barges Photo/Laptop Backpacks are back and tweaked to accomodate a pro minded approach to carrying photo gear. With the addition of a rain hood to the already water resistant 900D outer shell, rain and the elements no longer pose a threat to precious and expensive photo gear.  A tripod can be neatly stored on the removable tripod holder attached on the side of the backpack. The Customary Barge still holds a 17″ inch Mac laptop, and The Sinking Barge holds a 15″, but what’s different are Crumpler’s new ‘super snake divider’ inserts in the padded, zippered camera compartment that are customizable to fit a standard DSLR Camera kit and lenses. There’s also another removable padded pullout insert that fits a second DSLR kit or extra lenses. The Barges come in 3 striking color ways.

“Two bags for every boy and girl” says Lindsay Cousley, president of Crumpler US, ” You got stuff? We got bags for your stuff”

About Crumpler

Crumpler was created by three bike messengers, Dave Roper, Will Miller and Stuart Crumpler in Melbourne Australia in 1995 in response to a need for durable and visible bags that was not being met. Looking to branch into other markets, Crumpler began designing bags for laptops, photo and video equipment and all kinds of e-vices.  Crumpler bags are available at their retail stores, online at www.crumplerbags.com, and through selected specialty retailers nationwide.
