Buck Knives Spitfire
When I was a kid I wanted a Buck Model 110 more than any other knife. My Dad had one he that he carried at work as a mechanic. I can remember him showing it to me and telling me how you could cut a nail in half without damaging the edge. When I’d visit a knife store, my face was usually pressed up against the glass admiring the Buck knives. Being a poor kid I was never able to get a Buck Model 110.
Boker Plus Nopal
What makes a great every day carry knife? Size? Weight? Durability? This of course is a question that will only have one answer - it depends. Each of us has our own reasons for picking our EDC and I’m one of those guys that can never make up my mind. I have at least 15 EDC knives that I switch between, some are longer, some are smaller, some I just think look cool.
Bad Blood Dreadnaught and Paradigm Review
Those of you that know me, and even those of you that have read my reviews here before, know that every bit of kit I carry and use has earned it's place. The cheap junk, the stuff that seemed cool at the time, and the clunky and cumbersome end up assigned to a storage box or some other illustrious life in the dust bin. But not everything worth having is expensive. Such is the case with Bad Blood Knives. These are built well beyond their price point, and in this review, we take a look at just how well two of them are put together.
Gerber Myth Final Review
Since I did the initial review of these two knives together, I will also do the final review together. My everyday life here in Kenya consists of walking into town, about 3 miles and doing various jobs. I am an EMT so I am always looking where I can help in that area. I am also in charge of a building project in a neighboring village. Although survival is at the forefront of my mind, I am not in a survival situation every day as some might think. I do venture into the bush every now and then but for most days, I am around the villages. For the review I have some talking points I would like to hit on and on each point I will reference the Gerber Myth folder and the Myth Fixed blade.
